“Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land”
King Jesus was the Igniter mini movie for Easter 2022, illustrating Matthew 27. The central scene inspiration came from a digital painting where I combined the supernatural midday darkness of the crucifixion with the tearing of the temple curtain at Jesus’ death.
