In my last semester of undergrad, I was fascinated by the light that came through my window blinds in the morning, and the way it painted itself onto my body. This led to the creation of one of my senior show projects, a charcoal portrait series exploring the idea of anchoring yourself to the present moment, and finding magic in the mundane.
